Post Boot power socket + volt meter done this afternoon with pics.

I bought the volt meter with the intention of fitting it near the dash. It's a perfect size to fit into the tray under the fan controls but would require some fabricating to make a surround. Other options I could see were fitting in the handbrake well or into the corner of the plastic pannel behind the interior light console. In the end I opted for the boot. If you don't fancy cutting any holes and have upgraded the lighting in your boot already, The volt meter will fit directly into the OE Boot light recess

I've included a link to the 12v socket I bought, but TBH, it is low quality and I'll be replacing it straight away.

12v Power Socket, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE, POOR QUALITY!

Handy mod if like me you go Camping, Festivals, Airsoft, RC planes/cars etc and want to keep an eye on how the battery is doing.

Holes drilled, wires crimped, taped, Fused for 10amps.

I've got one of them and 2x temp sensors to go in the lower cubby, I just need to fabricate the face insert on my spare cubby insert

Can I use the same source for the white/yellow input or is it best to just take from the cig 12v?

The three wire one is so that you can detect lower voltages that the 2 wire one would not work at, would just wire white, yellow and red together, i am sure it will work fine.
