    Default 190.7!

On the recommendation of a few guys from here I decided to go pay a visit to Ben at MAS performance today. After the initial rolling road the car was showing a healthy 148 Bhp. After some computer work and egr blank the car managed 190.7 bhp and 285lb ft of torque. Must say I'm very impressed with the results....the car has so much pull now

It is if I'd put the right figure lol

    283 lb ft of torque

Not bad for a standard car though

The power figure is good for a standard car but to be honnest, the torque is quite low for a remap. If you got a generic EDS remap, you would expect 185bhp and 300lbft. They do sometimes get better as they settle to the new map, something that I can't explain because it shouldn't happen.

I think it doesn't matter what the actual figures are, so long as you're happy with the way the car goes. And lots of torque isn't your flywheel's or gearbox's friend! With my EDS map I sometimes feel the car's flying and sometimes I wonder if I've lost the map altogether - I think it's just a matter of expectations and familiarity and is largely in my head.

Exactly mate The car is so much more more responsive and smooth. When coming home with the caravan yesterday I barely had to change down. In fact the only times I had to change down were due to the wind blowing the 'van about.

More to come from this one though and tbh 200 quid for the above figures is an absolute bargain

It was included in the price mate....to get a r/r session on your own would be about 40-50 quid however if there is enough interest we could get a club r/r day at the end of the year and that would be about 30 odd
