Default What runs off the AUX/Belt?

Hi all, ive had a rattling noise coming from the front of my car for awhile now and think ive narrowed it down to the cambelt area.
I had the cambelt and water pump replaced around 38k and the rattle was there before that so ive ruled out the
cambelt as its still there... what i wanted to know is what runs off the AUX belt that can make a rattling noise.
The noise is only when under load and high revs... plus the noise gets faster the higher the revs/speed.
The engine is a 1.8 zx18e... BTW i have a slight oil leak coming from the crankshaft... can this
    cause any noise..

Alternator bearing maybe. On the z18xe all that runs off it is the Alternator and the AC pump. Id have said water pump if you hadnt changed it. Just disconnect the belt and see if the noise is still there.

Aux belt runs steering, alternator, aircon plus a couple of guide pulleys and a tensioner pulley.
When the cambelt was changed, was it just the belt or was it a full kit including pulleys and tensioner?

Don't know about this engine, but I would get a long screwdriver and listen through the handle whilst touching on the non-moving parts of the alternator, AC pump and any tensioners/pulleys to see if I could isolate the source of the vibration. Simple, but often effective!

thanks for the quick replys lads...

its very hard to lacate as when its in neutral and i rev the engine theres no rattle
plus ive had 2 front wheels lifted and i cant hear the noise then.. @least ive pin pointed it
to that area.. so should make it abit easier to find.
