Unhappy Need help with finding a chassis part.

I went to a mechanic to get my bumper fitted back on strait after I....had an argument with a very short post. He told me what I needed was a front chassis cross member and a N/S Front Chassis extension, I have identified the first part as whats more commonly called a slam panel cross member but I still do not know what the "near/side front chassis extension" is and I cant find it by searching that, a local panel/part supplier wasnt sure what that particular piece was either. Does anybody have any idea?

Think you need to ask him again exactly what part he needs?

Sounds like he means the Crash bar that joins across from one side of the chassis to the other. Sits directly behind the bumper.

yeah you need the chassis leg extension which also holds the front crash limiter bar thats right behind the bumper

its actually called - Absorber, Impact, Crash Limiter, Front End, LH

you need this part number- 13231168

you sure hes not also on about the crash limiter rather than the slam panel ? as thats what the above chassis leg extension is bolted to

That does sound more sensible its just that that crash panel is all i can find when i look for "front chassis cross member" is this part also known as a cross member? Sorry i really know very little about mechanics.
