....THE CAR JUST SHUTING DOWN
i have a signum 2.0 diesel and randomly just shuts down to nothing and its really quite dangerous almost had a car rear end me today
i have seem to be reading more and more of this problem happening i read that people are replacing EGR valves MAF senors and are not helping at all and no one knows what the problem is..
ANYONE PLEASE HELP

Done some searching for you mate and found an old thread on here, same engine as yours i think and it said that theres a small filter on the vacuum pipe that connects to the engine shut off valve, cant do links but search thread "2.0 dti engine cuts out signum". Might be worth a look

Just cuts out whilst driving?

yep just completely dies and if i turn it off for about 5 min it will reset its self and then it will be fine but yesterday problem just wouldnt shift cheers

Crank sensor maybe at fault

wouldnt it come up under any errors and at least its cheap compared to MAF and TPS sensors lol
