    Default Oil Catch Can Fitted

    New catch can fitted, new manifold later in year, hopefully this and my egr blank will keep it clean.

    That looks smart mate, where did you mount it.

    Does it have to be lower than the cam breather outlet?

    Doing mine at the weekend..

    If you look at the top 2 pics you can just see the bracket / plate I made, I mounted it onto that, and mounted the plate onto the mounting bar of the unit to the left, I could possibly mount it slightly lower however it's already working where it is. I can see there is oil on the left hand pipe ( from the engine breather ) but non in the right hand pipe, return, so therefore I can see it's working. I've also put 2 stainless steel scouring pads inside for the oil and deposits to catch onto, this will let the clean vapour breath out.

    Most people are mounting theres to the bulkhead on the right hand side of the water expansion bottle, I mounted mine where it is because the pipes are shorter and I can mount it lower.
