We went with GEM this time, excellent price and good cover - they came out damned quick too when my sons car broke down!

Get AA cover and get it through TopCashback, if you go through top cashback when you get the cashback the basic roadside cover has only cost you £8.

Just checked current cashback rate is £19.19.

I'm with the AA and have the top package... However, every time I've needed them to come out to me, the AA has never actually come, they've always sent a local company out... and its never been under 2 hours! I'm leaving them this year and moving to someone else. The latest incident it took them 7 hours and 3 different vehicles to get me and my car 120 miles back to my house (They are only allowed to take you something random like 55 miles or something ridiculous)... cant say I'm impressed with them in the slightest.

I use ADAC: Joint cover, all of Europe, roadside, recovery, all the jazz in any vehicle. 90 Euros a year for the two of us.

Being European cover it includes 365 days cover a year in mainland Europe.
