    Default Angel eye LEDs

I have installed, a set of angel eye headlamp units on my preface siggy. The LED's don't cut the mustard though. I have found somewhere that sells the wedge base unpopulated but am struggling to know what diameter & intensity of LED to fit into them and weather they'll just slot in and the legs bend round. Has anyone else attempted a high intensity LED Angel eye upgrade and has any more info? I guess i'm kind of going for the BMW bright look.

These http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/FK-angel-...grade-kit.html they're just not quite bright enough. I'd describe them as subtle not outstanding like the ones on a BMW

I tried those originally and you're right, they are rubbish. The 3 headed SMD typesold by jpwarden produce an effect closer to the one you're looking for but still not bright enough to be as noticeable as a BMW during the day.

Cheers guys, might order a set for the meantime. I think i'm going to get one of the clusters out tomorrow and have a look at doing something with it. I wonder if it's possible to adapt a BMW lightsource, hmmmmm
