Left indicator flashing fast, front indicator not working
Hi guys..
It just started on my Vectra 2006 facelift...
When turning left, indicators flashing fast.
*Bulb checked, no sign of the bulb not working, but changed anyway.. Still not working...
*Gave the headlight plug electricspray.. still not working.
*When hazard light is turned on.. the flash is back to normal, but left front indicator is not flashing at all.
*Fuses checked.. still not working.
*Trailer module changed (because there were no light on the trailer at all...) still not working.
Sometimes on start up the front indicator flashes normal for 3-4 times, then start flashing fast again.
Please help!!!!

may be worth a try roughing up the connector with sandpaper/wet n dry to remove any rubbish, you could also try adjusting the tightness of the bulb holder..

The connetors are as new and there is no rubbish in them... I could try the tightness of the bulb holder... But I can remember that it already was a tight fit...
But thanks for the hints..

Have you measured the voltage in the bulb holder? Try with hazards on.

No haven´t tried to measure voltages... My hands do not work for me to be doing that... With hazards on it won´t flash either..

I have solved my problem..
Toke it apart again today and found that one of the terminals in the headlight housing had burned a hole in it.

So I just cleaned it up a bit and didn´t screw the bulbholder completely in.. It is still tight and there is connexion to the bulb now.

Funny as I had the same problem with my Vec C 08. Read somewhere (honestjohn.co.uk) that the indicator fault could be a faulty ECU. So glad I found this old post! It solved my issue! :-)
