Brocks: - you can use the detail spray that came with the megs clay for spit polishing, you can even use chilled water, mind you whatever you use it's best when chilled

And Ed: - OCW, good choice it will sit over 476s great and will get better and better with every application, remember you can use it on your wheels (to bring out the fleck/bling) and OCW will not affect plastic/rubber infact it can be used on both

Yeah Brocks out of the fridge........at this time of year you could just leave it in the garage or shed while you wash the car that would be chilled for sure

Most are much the same the Brocks but I like using Sonus Green or the "Poly Clay" like Mothers ..........if it mentions aggressive forget it you want a mild one

Certainly will be. Cleaned the car today as it was absolutely minging after my drive up yesterday...........

but seeing as it decided to be fappin' freezing and frosty in the NE today all I did was give it a wash and dry. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit milder and I can get the polish, sealer and wax on! Got the 476s sat in the airing cupboard to soften it up nicely to ease application.

Is it worth doing the spit and shine? (best thing I've probably got with me is the Megs Speed Detailer) or should I just concentrate on getting a layer on the car first?
