Throttle Body

I have a vectra c sri 2.2 dti and clean EGR and Boost sensor say every few months...I have never cleaned the throttle body out tho.

Has anyone done this and would i see any benefits in doing this.

Not sure on benefits of just the throttle body as I done a few jobs at the same time but car felt smoother and a nicer drive afterwards

Thats one dirty TB you had there...

Used to take mine off every 6 months but it only ever had a small amount of oil mist, not that bad to be fair... I took mine off tho and smoothed and polish all the inside, feels to pull a little easier now.

You're not wrong. Took longer to clean than to remove and replace
