Default Wandering during heavy braking ?

    Vec 'C' 1.9 150 2008 95k on clock.
I've changed the offside wishbone because the ball joint was well gone.
The nearside wishbone has no play anywhere I can feel, but under heavy braking the steering seems to move about over uneven road surfaces ?
Feels like I'm driving with no front shocks, but the shocks seem fine.
I can feel the steering wheel moving around slightly while this is happening.
Anyone have any idea's please ?
    Thanks.

    1. Uneven brake wear?
    2. Uneven brake power ( caliper leak ) ?
    3. Tyre wear / pressure?
    4. Worn Discs?

As above if a car is pulling to the side it's most likely caliper leak or uneven pads

There is a bit of a noise from the nearside wheel, just before the car comes to a standstill, last few feet, but it doesn't pull during normal braking only on heavy braking on bumps.
I was going to change the n/side w/bone but maybe it might be worth doing discs and pads ?
    They look fine though ?

check your inner rack ends , common item to wear and often missed - mine had these symptoms , had em changed and it made a massive differance.
