Default Heater matrix, just doesnt get cool

Not sure if it happened before, but since I changed the thermostat last year, the cool setting is still a little warm, which is fine on cold mornings and in the winter, but a pain in the summer.Incidentally the air conn doesnt work either, but thats probably due to recharging needed .
The engine heats up a lot quicker too, but thats probably just because the thermostat is actually working now, lol.
    Any ideas?

What temperature do you have at the vents when blowing cold?

Remember if the outside temp is warm thats when you need a working air con it won't be cool without it.

Yes I understand that, but its still warmer than outside when its cold outside , and on the coldest setting.

The heater matrix won't be cold unless it's been left for a long time.
Its sounds more like the temperature motor/flap isn't adjusting fully
