    Default 2nd rear fog light

Just done the second rear fog light mod, had to use a bit of wire to find the colour wire on drivers side. Anyone wanting to know if you don't have an amp meter on mine it was the black and blue wire (drivers side rear lights). I have an 07 sri. Well worth doing and dead easy to do.

Is it just a case of wiring the spare fog light in parallel to the working fog light? If so, does it affect the canbus bulb warning message on the dash? Cheers

It is basically as easy as running a wire from the working one on the passenger side one to the drivers side. Ive had no canbus errors on mine.

Cheers! Why VX don't do that as standard, it makes no sense - it's hardly a big cost to add one extra wire especially on such a safety critical piece of kits as a fog light lol! Next thing is they'll only give you one floor mat, or one sunvisor, or one headlight

It's only wired up for one light as a safety feature. It helps people to see the brake lights more clearly if they're not obscured by two bright fog lights. If someone isn't able to see one fog light in front of them, then chances are they aren't going to see two either.

Personally I prefer only the one rear fog light. Following idiots who forget to turn them off when visibility is more than 100 metres and people who think they're rain lights and not fog lights for example. Easier on the eye if you've only got the one glaring at you and not two.

Vx aren't the only manufacturer, btw. Ford, Peugeot, to name but a couple of names only fit one foglight.
