    Default Brake pads

Hi all going to attempt full brake pad change, waiting on rewind tool, went to euro car parts and got my pads just made it they were about to close, got home and noticed the rear pads say for ford and mazda is it possible they are ok, i know some pads will fit a variety of cars, the part numbers match whats on the box, they are eicher brakes, not the best make but not planning on having the car much longer, can anyone advise.

Pads are pads, and quite often fit different manufacturers
Only way to know is to check part numbers and catalogues

euro car parts, going by my reg the pads are correct, when i input my car as being focus max as it says on the box, the same rear pads come up and have the same stock code. just dont want to be fitting wrong brakes, also there is a spring at top of brakes instead of behind, but im sure ive read the spring position was revised.

The Vectra uses ATE calipers, as did Ford on the Mk2 Focus and Mondeo - whether that means the pads are an exact fit, I can't say.
