    Default Humble Beginnings...

So I have been on here for a couple of months and started getting my car into shape. After the FREE show this weekend I have managed to make some decent progress with the cleaning.

The inside is staring to look fairly decent too...

It had to have a new gearknob (the original kept falling off) New VX Mats and deep clean to the seats. The LED's under the heater panel are a nice effect but are visible from the back seat so I am trying to find a way to hide them a bit more.

Next step is to fit a new mirror surround and door as both are pretty badly damaged. I have got the door but need to give it a good clean/ paint restore before I install it.

After that, its painting the grill and dropping it a few mm. Will keep posted.

Looking good there fella. You caught the cleaning bug eh, it never finishes, lol. Changed my grill today, spent longer cleaning the area the old one came out off than it took to swap them both over.

Today I have done a llittle mod to the vectra. I swapped the steering wheel for an elite model leather one. The typically worn out volume switch was doing my head in, so I dismantled the spare NS switch and swapped the parts over. Fresh switch, nice new look. Pics to follow.

Manage to get the door on today, what a ****** job. The whole wiring loom had to come out and be swapped over because the plugs were different. However, it's all on now. A fair bit of touching up to do to try and bring it up to scratch but loads better than the last one.
    Next job, Springs!

BIG THANKS to Bobsignum for his help today, really nice work you have done mate. Think the wheels are a little beyond repair to be honest but the body work is spot on. Thank You
