He means the cup holder next to handbrake and gear stick that's where I put my phone aswel

The standard Vectra cup holders are terrible up front. Far to shallow. The rears are fine but no help when your driving.

As for air vent holders cup or phone, can't help you there.

I got a cup holder for behind the gearstick off a guy on this site, think it was under£20 and works great - no spills yet. Changing gear when they're both full is a bit of a pain but i get used to it

Cup holder wise get the one that goes in the armrest hole. Phone wise get a brodit clip and holder.
