    Default Tyre pressure warning fault

    I have just got 2003 signum and the tyre pressure warning light is on
    doesnt say which tyre just symbol of bottom bit of tyre with explanation mark in it
    i have got pressures at 34 bar all round

    Any ideas why light is still on ?

    You need a new sensor mate and if it was factory fit the others will follow shortly 7 to 8 years life expectancy so for a 2003 car you have done alright well the previous owner did they are around £35 each plus fitting

    Is £35 from main dealers
    Would any tyre fitting garage be able to fit them

    Your profile had a 2.2 when I looked at, so assume you have now updated it

    As you have a V6 CDTI, have you tried the correct tyre pressures?
    What is the tyre size?
    If they are 215/50R17, then 38 front, 35 rear
    If they are 225/45R17, then 39 front 35 rear
    34 on the front will be too low

    sorry have just updated car details
    only had signum a week
    thanks for info,i will try 38 front,35 rear tomorrow

    Tried the 38 n 25... Light still on
    unplugged box under rear passenger light but light still on

    Am I stuck with this MOT fail light ?
