Default Have the Garage installed the right DMF?

    Hi everyone,
Really enjoying the site and I've been reading lots of helpful threads regarding issues I thought only I was cursed with.
I'm a total newbie here so please bare with me.
I have some technical knowledge which lets me get by on day to day things but could use some advice/extra knowledge regarding the dreaded DMF.
I've just had the clutch and flywheel replaced on my Vectra C 1.9CDTi 150 by a local garage and on talking to the mechanic about it, he said they've put a 'LUK' brand clutch and flywheel in. When I got home, I read up about the DMF online and I could not find a 'LUK' flywheel that was compatable with my model car, the only one I could find was by 'Sachs'.
What I'm trying to ask is this, If they have put the 'LUK' one in (which looks like it's only for the 8V 120BHP Vectra) will it:
    a) reduce the cars power
    b) be liable to go faulty again in the near future
    c) cause any sort of damage
    d) or anything else that might cost more cash to repair

Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance

LUK previously Lucas, i would imagine they do a 1.9 cdti 150 DMF and clutch as it's a massively popular engine across a wide range of brands.

If it didn't fit they couldn't have fitted it.
Luk supply lots of clutch kits and dmf's for lots of makes of cars most cars come with either a Valeo or luk clutch as standard

Someone on another forum asked something similar just a few days ago - he went to GSF to buy a Sachs DMF, but inside the Sachs box was a LUK DMF. He emailed both companies about this and they replied with this:

".......Sachs + LUK had a joint venture on this engine, where by SACHS supply the DMF, and LUK supply the Clutch kit. We interchange product between ourselves so that we can infill our range and meet customer supply requests."

Thanks for the advice people, it's much appreciated. Just wanted to make sure before arguing with the garage about it. The car actually feels better than it ever has done and drives like new
