Bad day at the inn

Well on Thursday was having a great morning on my travels to Exeter and got all the way in to Magdelane Street Car Park following a Micra in and she pulled into a parking space, next thing I clocked that she was reversing out so left her enough room - next thing she is still coming sound my horn try to get it into reverse BANG too late

So damage is as follows - Passenger Headlight Cracked, Bonnet Dented in at the front, Number plate, Wing dented, and Bumper cracked

So details swapped photo taken of her number plate just incase she tried to give me dodgy details and on the phone to my insurance company.

So after over an hour sorting out all the details etc I can get to work.

Then I get a call from Drive Assist to do with my courtesy car to tell me they can only offer me an Astra 1.8 petrol 5 door - to which they were told not right for my needs.

So 6pm rolls on at this point im back in Wales and a lorry pulls up, guy opens the back of this lorry and I met with a nice 12 plate 520 complete with M sport pack and only 280 miles on the clock!!!

Got to get the veccy quoted up and given its going to my local garage I am going to try to get them to do the facelift for me

i used to work for drive assist, they try to make sure you get the correct equivalent size car to the one you have, dont normaly send anything smaller, you wont want to send the bmw back......

oh yes i know they delivered it on 280 miles and now has 700+ as had a trip to manchester yesterday!

was shocked with the way they deliver fully enclosed lorry i was expecting a recovery style truck LOL

we used to drive the car to destination and get picked up by another driver or have trade plates to collect another or tow a trailor, it was a good few years ago though brand new V-reg vectra 'b' sri 140's were the top car's we delivered at the time lol

when we had a bump last year we had a 320 'm-sport' from avis, if it was a 520 'm-sport' i would have kept it and sold the vectra

I've got a 61 plate passat 2.0tdi blue motion auto as a hire car at the minute (can't remember who it's from was through Albany assistance) that drives really well but not as good mpg as I would expect from a new diesel
