Advice on buying/fitting a Caska VCMMI?

Just been looking at this VCMMI unit from Caska, I'm definitely interested in buying one, but need to know a few things first.

1) By taking the CD70 out, what functions do I lose exactly? GPS obviously, but anything else? Phone perhaps?
2) Do I have to take anything else out with it, to make it worth more when selling? i.e. the CID, phone cradle etc? I didn't really want to get rid of the CID because I think the Caska unit is compatible with it, plus I'd need to keep it to be able to see warnings, BC info etc on it I'm guessing?
3) Would it be possible to keep the BT module and still use the phone via that? Or is the CD70 required? Or would it be better to include it in the sale?

cant really answer the BT question, but as the radio is the thing which controls the scroller wheels for use with it then its more than likely you'll loose that function and as the cd70 is the interface to the BT then its looking even more likely the BT will be defunct.
