IGNORE IT, do not enter into communication with them, IGNORE IT.

They will send reminders, they will send threats to pursue through the courts, they will send red reminders, it will go on for months, eventually they will give up and go away.

I am talking from experience here.

Only parking fines issued by the Police or the Local Authority / Council are legally enforceable, NEVER ignore these.

general consensus is use it as toilet paper tbh, its not a council or police notification have a read up on this http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=46975 and check out other threads there, the main difference is Parking Charge not Penalty Charge. they need to enter into a contract with the driver NOT the registered owner

Equally, keep any they send you, put them in a folder
A company can only send you so many requests for a payment, any more than that is harrasement and threatening behaviour
Hence why no such cases have gone through court (where the registered keeper has not responded)

I love how these demand forms appear to be doing you a favour...
    £90 + admin fee £30 = £120
    Pay now for only £60
What do you get for £60 ?
I hope the three and 1/4 hours in the car park was worth it!

I once got one of these charged on a rental car I was driving, I had to pay up or rather I had NO CHOICE but to pay up as Hertz got the fine paid it then contra charged me. Where did this happen? Castle Donnington services I had been shattered after driving from the South up to home, stopped there must have dozed off and was parked 2 hours 8 minutes in total with 2 hour free parking

    Ignore it.
On another note wouldn't it have been advisable to have blanked out your mates address lol
