Default Catch Can Placement and Pipework

Well my budget catch can arrived

Going to use this mini compressor filter, with the filter slightly modified.

I'm worried about the pipe work though and having kinks in it, but not worried enough to start spending loads on various elbows to fit properly lol

Can anyone see any issues with the path below? I'm going to attach it to the engine cover bracket (yellow) once I've knocked up a metal bracket.

It has a release valve at the bottom when the pressure drops, i may block this or add a small 4mm pipe and just vent under the car...

That looks like the oil most would come out ok. Will your compressor filter allow enough air through? It needs to be free flowing to avoid any pressurisation.

I mounted mine on the bulkhead between the expansion tank and strut top routed the pipes along the back of the engine and must admit am very happy with the result. Now I intend to monitor the lines for return oil into the intake stream.

Yeah mally, I've modified the filter so it sucks up under rather then through the thick filter...

Just messed with some old hose this morning and it'll bend without compressing shape by the looks... I'm also going to monitor the gas temp of the gas before the catch can, just waiting for my gauges to turn up
