    Default Tax reminder, upsetting!!

Just had a lovely letter from the DVLA drop on the door mat this morning, its car tax time and it upsets me every time, £475.00 or £261.25 for 6 months so its gone up again.

i don't find this fair as i believe that my VXR is no more of an ozone killing machine than most other cars.

if i am doing 70mph on the motorway the V6 is ticking over where as a 1.0 would be revving its nuts off, just my view, anyone else due to renew this month?

Barlow, I've not opened mine yet but thinking it must be around the same, in which case it would not have gone up from 6mths ago? Bit odd that?

You jammy sod, my CDTI is £250 per year!
Not as bad as £475 though so shouldn't complain.

I pay 475 for one car 220 for another. In total I do 6000 miles a year and only 3000 in this country. But when I add on the 17mpg and cost of tyres etc the road tax becomes negligable.

    This looks promising thougth
