    Default De-Badging query.

I've had the Vauxhall badge removed off the back along with the SIGNUM and 1.9CDTi wording too (unless you know then most people are flummoxed as to what car it actually is!), needed some respray work done after a pushbike slipped on the rack and rubbed thru. Also removed the I.D off the doors and changed the front grille.

Does anyone know the size of the wheel centres? I fancy changing them for something with no Vauxhall badge on, might need to respray them as the only ones I've seen are white.

And, is it possible to remove the Vauxhall logo from the centre of the steering wheel? Hairdryer and patience perhaps? I'd not want to set the airbag off by accident!

Nah, just like making it difficult for people to identify teh car! No one knows what a Signum is so why help them out by telling them it's a Vauxhall!

^^^ Actually I think it's good fun making people guess what it is. And let's face it the signum isn't that popular/common anyway.
You're right about the steering wheel of course, not impossible but difficult, all you've got to change with the alloys is the centre. But I'd guess if you debadged the rear and changed the grill then 99% wouldn't have a clue!

This can be very handy against Wardens...Oh sorry, Civil Enforcement Officers when they have to input the make and model on to there machine. When I was a dispatch rider in London a few years back, not only would we remove every badge, fill over every stamp, we'd quite often add Suzuki, Kawasaki badges, re list the coulor as Grey (when it was Black) and make a habit of reporting our number plate had been nicked every 6months. Never had to pay any tickets, and any other offences was 'Clearly a clone bike using my stolen plate Guv".

    Oh the good ol days....
