1) I Am Thinking Of Puting The Vxr Rims On Any Elite.. Has Anyone Done That On Here?? If So Do You Think It Will Need Lowering. I Dont Want To Lower, So I Might Have To Get Some Gsi Rims Instead... What Do You Guys Think???

2) Also Removing The Elite Badges On The Sides.. How Can That Be Done Without Damaging The Bodywork...

Its' OK, You Don't Have To Aplogise About Using Caps, Just STOP doing it!!

Right.

1. You don't have to lower your car if you don't want to. You might find that the larger wheels fill the arches enough for your taste. It's about personal choice.

2. Debadging is easy.... Use a hairdryer or boiling water to soften the adhesive behind the badge, then use a credit card or fishing line to slice the badge off the paintwork. Then get hold of some Bug & Tar remover, which will shift the last of the sticky mess. Depending on the condition of your paintwork, you'll probably need to polish and wax the area to bring it up to the same standard as the rest of the panel.

Just takes time mate. Not a lot of people will be upgrading alloys etc at this time of year maybe. Just keep an eye on the posts people are very good at posting up links to stuff for sale on here.

It'll be worth the wait when you get the bits you want.

I too have wondered how on earth do you modify the Elite, All I can think is perhaps tinting the back windows, larger but yet still fairly stylish alloys. I wouldn't want it to look like an SRI or SXI or I'd have bought one, I want it to look less sporty and more refined.

I might keep the car now seen as Vx Leeds seem to have fixed it.

Not sure how to modify it? your kidding right?, if it was me, VXR pack 1, 19" VXR alloys, debadge, lower with Sri shocks and springs.
