gearbox and clutch

hi all, took my vekki to have a new clutch and slave cylinder done today, had a phone call 2hrs later to say there was metal shavings in the bottom of the gearbox, and the diff was badly worn, its a vectra 03 on 89,000 miles, total price for new clutch, slave cylinder and re-con gearbox is £658 all in, is this a good price?

not bad at all tbh, i know a 6 speed recon box for a vivaro van is £700.00 exchange...

got the car back today, all done, drives like new and noise free, for anybody in birmingham, i had the work done at A1 clutches in Tipton, great company and would recommend them to everybody
