hope it appears
will try again and post them up later, old firm game just about to start
Can't make it out, but if it's in the side wall it's scrap..........any damage in the side wall renders the tyre scrap.
hopefully this is a clearer view, but again the pic makes it look worse than it is
How deep is it, have you pulled it back so to speak?. Personally, and especially at this time of year the last thing you want is not to have confidence in your tyres.
Get it changed, just not worth the risk imho, a bit of rubber > your life? I dont think so
Should be fine looks like just a nip....sidewalls are very thick.
side walls thick for a good reason, that is its the most stressed part of tyre. its pulled all over the place going round corners and nicks are never acceptable in that area .apart from your personal safety its also an mot failure for the reason previously given. wonder if the people who say its ok to use said tyre would be willing to tell a judge in court that its ok to drive on that.
As per your Pm...get it off the car mate..
many thanks for your swift replies, have decided to err n the side of safety, only now i have to wait for both the banks and decent tyre dealers to open. Budget, theres a contradiction in terms want up to £205 and i know i can probably get one fitted for less than a ton.
Still it is the season of goodwill to all men except tyre dealers and if i didnt laugh i would have to cry, and to think there was me thinking what a good boy i have been this crimbo, seeing as how the credit card was completely unscathed.
NOT NOW IT ISNT
