I have a signum 3.2 v6 and changed the arb's today £5.35 from vauxhall bargain.
While i was having a look about i wondered how much movement should there be in the tie rod as i can twist the osf one from side to side but no up or down movement

would be great if someone could respond I've done the front arb's and drop links but i think i can still hear a knocking when i go over bumps etc
You can rotate it clockwise/anticlockwise but you shouldnt be able to push it directly back/forth or up/down
Really need someone to grasp wheel an 3&9 o'clock position an wobble it to feel for movement as being able to move it side to side their usually still ok.
Have a look a strut tops. An wish bone bushes if still knocking.
cheers for the replies sounds expensive if its wish bone bushes
