Timing Belt Due - Water Pump Too?

Im looking at getting my timing belt done and have been quoted £200 all in so far, however I need to check if thats just belt or the full kit including tensioners and pulleys. He did say it was genuine Vauxhall stuff though but I want to clarify if its just the belt or not.

Anyway, is it worth getting the water pump done at the same time? Is there a way to tell if I should or not, like any tell tale signs that it needs replacing? Car is on 89k miles.

I'm on the same boat got quoted 280 for full kit but looking for advice mine is coming up for 70k

Might as well get both done as you don't want the water pump seizing

Belts dont fail...........................Tensioners and water pumps do which is what shreds the belts.

ALWAYS do the water pump and tensioners at the same time as the cambelt.

I just got all mine done and the other belt & tensioner ...all genuine Vauxhall stuff cost me just under £200 and i paid ... wait for it a paintball gun & extras and paint balls ... i was happy to pay this & he was very happy with the payment Always best to do the water pump at the same time

Will proberly buy the parts myself and just pay labour

just a little word look at the pulley on the other belt as i seen mine and it needs changing before it falls off lol just got told the other pulley is over 200 if u want a Vauxhall 1 OMG

I just changed the crank pulley on Friday lol and they advised cambelt kit
