The other supermarkets will indeed "follow suit" - but only in towns where there is also an Asda filling station. If your town doesn't have an Asda, or has an Asda without a filling station on its grounds, then Tesco, Sainsburys et al won't change their prices.

    Anyone else use: www.petrolprices.com

Our ASDA and Tesco are normally within 1/2 pence of each other and ASDA always cheaper (130.7 Asda and 130.9 Tesco)

We're not changing our prices, it has already gone down
This is the third such price change, Asda are really marketing this quite well
Wonder if they will do the same when the price goes up...

They use data from Arval, fuel card transaction, so are usually two days behind
I can go one better by contacting the BP pricing desk, they can give me the price correct to within 6 hours

I can go one better and walk down to the garage and look at the sign and it'll tell me price right now

Would only apply at any garage you can physically visit, the pricing desk is updated every 4 hours for every petrol station in Britain
