spanner lights on the dash of my vectra c facelift 1.9 cdti 120

hi every one i brought my car about 2 months ago and for the first 3 days it was fine then out of no where the car went into limp mode (spanner light came on) and scince then all i have had is problems i can not go above 2000rpm-3000rmp it will go into limp mode. it smokes very bad, i am running out of ideas i have put a new air mass on and new egr valve and gaskets set,

Needs the fault code(s) reading out.

Not sure if the pedal trick works on your engine - the info is in the how2

hi i have had the car plugged in twice and it shows no fault codes, but it does remove something, i also could not find the link to the pedel trick cheers dan

Have you checked the vacuum boost pipes? RHS of the engine at the front, next to the battery the pipe goes back to the metal piped over the top of the engine. The hoses are notoriously bad for splitting, particularlyat the 90degree bend, do a search for vacuum booct pipes on here and you'll find LOTS of info. Cheap fix at about £5 for a length of 4mm ID silicone hose.
