Default "Misfire" At 1800k On 1.9 Diesel?

This only occurs when the temperature is above 13-15C and is not noticeable during the winter.

I thought it had gone away but after a service, EGR and boost sensor clean it appeared again yesterday after happening last summer.

If I have my foot to the floor it does not appear but if I'm lightly accelerating under warmer conditions what feels like a misfire occurs just before 2k. Any ideas?

TBH I'd forgot about it as my car was running that "strained" without a service and the EGR being changed (it had previously been cleaned but light was on permanent) I'd forgot about it.

When I had the car in for a new front pipe over the winter the mechanic thought he could hear an air leak in manifold after fixing front pipe, could this cause it? His 1st diagnosis was MAF sensor as apparantly its a common one. Next stop is a new MAF sensor I suppose unless its an exceptionally cold summer and I can live with it but its so annoying!

I find it all the stranger that its reappeared now after having all the above work done as it didnt show up during the warmer spells so far this year :S

Sounds like the EGR. I had no problems with mine over the winter and completely forgot all about it. Then the air temp got above 9 degrees and it stared hesitating again.
I have now had the EGR blanked and mapped out and its stopped hesitating.

Disconnect the EGR and see how it is. If it's ok either get the EGR mapped out and blanked or buy a new EGR/clean it all again (but it will occur again unless it's mapped out).

The blanking and remap costs about the same as a new EGR and getting it fitted.
