    Default 3.0 cdti map sensor

    Hi
i have just got a 2003 signum which when under load,ie going up hills.
It goes flat and sometimes engine light comes on

When I checked with code reader... Manifold absolute pressure/barometric circuit shows
has anyone one had the same pproblem
Any pics of where the map sensor is and is there any way of checking this

This is where you want to be :
    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/forumd...Z30DT-Specific

It's on the neaside of the engine bay, under the inlet manifold
Disconnect it, the engine will go straight into Safe Mode, and with a code reader will confirm it is this part

Mine did this until I cleaned the boost sensor. Remove the plastic engine cover and it's the top right hand corner (passenger side) it is a small sensor under the "cable tray" with "boost sensor" written on it. It's location is on here somewhere in a pic. Have a poke about though, it's easy to find but a little awkward to get too.

It sits just behind it, mirror image of where the EGR valve sits

Not directly, you need to remove the engine cover and inlet manifold
