    Default End of Busy/Expensive Month

Just picked my car up this morning after an expensive/busy month! My baby has had the following work carried out in the last month:-

    • New Alternator (RAC fix by the side of the road) £233 incl VAT!
    • Cambelt change at 96k miles (Halfrauds autocentre) £228 incl VAT!
    • The dreaded new DMF and clutch (Cannock Clucth centre) £565 incl VAT!

Hopefully that is now the end of the expense, well that is un til it goes in for its MOT in October!

I know that one £881 for new turbo this month plus tax and now got a prob with the power steering. I very nearly bought a new car but decided to stick with the veccy and do the turbo.....I hope I made the right choice

From what I read on here £565 all in for clutch and DMF is a pretty good price, isn't it?

Most places were quoting between £700 to £900, so at £565 I snapped their hands off!!!

However I think the guy who quoted me the price might of got it wrong but fair play to the garage they honoured the price!
