    Default socket set

i am after a decent new socket set to be stored in the boot of the car. i have various wrenches, sockets etc already but would ideally like a good one in a case to be stored in the boot.

can anyone recomend a good one that ideally comes in a case (not neccessarily a deal breaker) has a good range of sockets including deep drive and doesnt cost a fortune as probably wont be used all that often. i am not a mechanic so snap on or similar is a waste of money in this case imo.

not really too fussed tbh, probably the smaller ones tho as they tend to be easier to use in tight spots, 1/2" tends to mean big ratchets imo.

bigger than 1/2" is proffesionals only surely.

I know of a good few who have the 150 piece and its very good anc comprehensive.. Also its covered by a lifetime guarentee so if anything brakes you take it back to the store and they will replace it. You dont need proof of purchase either now as they are all marked as "Halfords Advanced"
