Default No power, stranded on holiday

On startup this morning my Z30DT idled roughly and won't rev, barely moves in gear (auto). Have started it 4 times, now have engine light on and currently waiting for recovery. I have had a few, maybe 4, occurrences of the car losing almost all power after going over speed bumps at very low speeds, this over last 10k miles, this is first trouble from startup, any ideas as to what could be cause? Last service 1.5k ago by Vx.

We're at a holiday camp near Clacton, I guess mine could be over now if I have to have the car recovered.

Car is running again, P0093 & P0409 codes showing, RAC chap cleaned EGR and reset codes. I suppose I should now look to replacing EGR in the near future.

That's good news - good to see an RAC man who is prepared to get his hands dirty rather than towing you to the nearest garage and dumping you! Got this years subscription back in one. Have a good holiday!

The Car and spanner, in the rev counter, or the orange symbol (that appears before starting the engine, and to the right of the fuel tank warning light)?

If it is the orange symbol, this is the Emissions Warning light, and almost certainly confirms the EGR is reaching the end of its life
You can clear this, temporarily, by switching the ignition on and off three times, removing the key and waiting at least three minutes each time (useful if you do not have spanners in the car, to disconnect the battery)
Unfortunately this removes the active stored code, the warning light will stay on, but it swtiches Safe Mode off

Mine has just suffered this, and confirmed the EGR valve cannot be cleaned, it is replacement only

Thanks, it was the orange engine symbol, to the right of fuel warning, I'd best get saving I suppose.
