    Default Is this a safty feature

    Thought I'd try drive really slowly with left foot on brakes and right on accelerator also left foot braking and it cuts out the power till ya let go off the brake

    Not likely, more chance it is just the engine stalling at low revs
    However, there shouldn't be any reason to apply both foot brake and accelerator at the same time; I'm sure I've tried it before and not had any such issue

    Tried it again doing 40 at higher revs and cuts the power the buses at work do it aswell

    Its just the ecu reducing the fuel to allow it to 'tick over' and help save fuel.

    Pretty much all diesels do it.

    i think u should check urself in to GP in the morning and have ur upper UEC checked by someone who know bit more than u about brakes.......

    Read on google and it's normal for it to do it my brakes do seem to be getting better and more solid now

    Probably as you're doing two things which counteract each other. It's probably not doing the brakes any favours if the power wasn't reduced.

    Iirc it's to save fuel, so when braking its only using minimal fuel.
