20- 500 miles usually 10-20miles on the front brakes if applied gently every couple of minutes from 20-30 mph to a stop

My personal view is that you should get an expert to check over your brakes, given the problems you've recently had with them. I certainly wouldn't trust them going on the history of your recent postings.

I agree with Big Dave - I understood you were having problems with your handbrake / rear calipers and then your front caliper lets you down! - there is a problem with the whole system by the sounds of it and it needs a going over by a professional - I am all for DIY but with the problems you have encountered its a recipe for disaster, if not repaired properly.

Mate as said above u know as much about brakes as some of us about molecular energy so sometimes is best to get pros to do their job as next time won't be the hedge to stop ya ....

Hmmm! I beg to differ going on your earlier post in this thread which said

"the car does come to a holt just takes its time and brake petal abit spongy eek"

    Seriously, don't mess with brakes...

I've changed brake shoes and pads, bled brakes and so on, and it's worked out ok. But honestly if you've got problems that you can't seem to solve then call in a pro!
It may cost you a few quid but it's way way better than killing yourself or even worse an innocent kiddie that just happens to be in the way! You know you'd never forgive yourself for that...
