Default Will a Fcalift Steering Wheel & Airbag fit a Pre-Facelift?

As above guys, I think my car is referred to as FULL CANBUS, it has the roller type steering controls.

    Has anybody done this?

    Thanks.

if its fullcan then yes, the complete steering wheel and airbag will fit, but you'll also need the facelift scroller wheels as the design is different on the covers and also the wiring to it.

Works on the same priniciple as me fitting a VXR steering wheel on a fullcan pre-face

I don't really know what a FULLCAN BUS is, but my steering wheel has buttons and not the wheels controls, so will a VXR steering wheel not go on mine?

Think of a bus..... Full of cans

Half can and full can is the equivilent of a network. All the modules communicate using a network protocol called canbus.
Best way to describe the difference is the speed it communicates, i'll use an internet connection as an example,
Think of Half-CAN as dial-up (in the days where you'd be up all night looking for frankie vaughn and you'd see 3 women), and Full-CAN as broadband. they don't operate at those speeds, merely using it as an example to describe the difference in speed.

If your existing steering wheel has buttons, then it's Half-CAN. Steering wheels with scrollers are Full-CAN, and as far as i know, "could" be programmed to a half-can car with the aid of certain software that can't be mentioned on this forum. I've seen the option for it, but never tried it. Plasma would be the best guy to speak to on such matters, he's like our vaux programming genius

I have put a facelift 56 plate Sri three spoke wheel on my 05 pre facelift Design model which had previously a four spoke.

No issues whatsoever, just disconnected battery for half an hour first, subsequently removed it again a few times to get wheel a little straighter. Only need a small flat screwdriver and a T50 torx driver for centre bolt.
