    confused mp3 input

    Hi was wondering if anyone could help me on my radio in my vectra the cd70 i have a sign that says mp3 but no input for it this must come as standard on a higher model i have the sri with sat nav can i put a port into my car so that i can plug my phone and ipod straight in ???? Any ideas am useless with electrical things more mechanical minded

    We need a bit info, for example, does the screen show aux in as well as FM, CD, etc.
    Also earlier model CD70's didnt have Aux In.

    The CD70 plays MP3 from the CD, just make a CD with mp3 tracks on it.

    It doesnt have the aux bit but i assumed that was because i dont have it connected up its from a 2006 cd70 navi

    It's more likely that Aux-in in not fitted, only later CD70's had it fitted.
    You will need to buy the parts and then fit them as in the above auction,
    or
    send the whole CD70 to Electroboyz

    Electroboyz are here on Vec-C, where he is known as yysnet, and knows what he is doing with CD 70's.

    If You get the CD70 modified, Then you still need to fit the 3.5mm jack socket for the MP3 player to connect to, as shown in the above auction.

    As Bowler posted, the CD70 plays MP3s from CD, just burn the MP3s onto a CD and close the session, if prompted use the settings for a computer. Any tracks that aren't in an album folder will automatically be placed into one called Album 1 by the CD70.
