will vauxhall change the vectra name ?

in 2007/2008 when the new car comes out ?
the vectra has had a bad name since JC had it on top gear many years ago

Do you know what dannysport18, if a car doesn't do 0-60 in 4 seconds and a top speed of 185mph Jeremy Clarkson reckons its a bag of sh*te! I used to watch Top Gear regularly but over the last few years i've got fed up with it...based on what i said above. Top Gear in my opinion just seems to concentrate on sports cars generally. I much prefer Used Car Roadshow on Men and Motors. At least on there they do show more general cars NOT just sporty models AND give a fair opinion. Anyone else any thoughts on Top Gear?

Top Gear used to be a motoring review show, not anymore. Thats not a bad thing though, now its just 100% fun! For me its not worse or better, just different. But if you want your everyday car stuff you need to look elsewhere I'm afraid, its not something the everyday man in the street can use to judge a new car, its more for us commoners to dream about these cars we'll never be able to afford, and see them in action! On the rare occasion they do roadtest some 'normal' cars, its usually for the purposes of comedy.

the vectra b was a pretty poor show when the mondeo came along it slapped it silly , lets hope the next car is up to the job , the mk4 mondeo is going to take some beating

To be fair you're quite right there david173 it is a fun programme but at the same time i still stand by what i said about JC, he only seems to be interested in, 'mean' machines! Tell you a programme i do like (no i don't work for the 'men and motors' channel either!), "Sold in 60 Seconds". If you've never watched it, try it sometime.
