    Default Only 100bhp...

Sorry for another loss of power post!

    However...

My car is an 04 1.9 cdti 8v 120bhp and I'm trying to get it mapped. However it's only producing 100bhp on the rolling road and I'm stumped why!

    Things I have done...

    - Brand new EGR valve
    - Check all boost pipes and replace clips with brand new jubilees
    - Remove and clean boost sensor.
    - full major service 5000 miles ago.
    - check the vacuum pipes and replace one

The turbo audibly spools up but I don't really feel the "punch".

Any ideas welcome as I have been trawling the forum with no luck

According to the service history it had a new blower 10000 miles ago...

I would certainly hope it's not a worn turbo! :-/

beat me to it mate i was just about to ask that,if thats a wheels figure then it equates to factory power or maybe a tad more at the flywheel

It was at the fly .

Have checked the vacuum hoses and they all seem fine...

Keep the suggestions coming! Much appreciated!

Zeus, the guys on the rolling road should be able to assess the problem, fueling, boost, knock etc - what do they say?

The 120 isnt a lively car on or off boost (I have one too)

I didn't think it was much of a lively car either. He says he doesn't know what's wrong with it. They even tried fiddling with the map to see if they could get the car to respond but no such luck. Still 100bhp. That makes me think it's mechanical (there's no error codes).

Maybe it's worthwhile getting it on the rollers somewhere else and get a second opinion?
