Question CDTi 150: Has anyone manually removed the internals from the pre-cat pipe?

I've got a Scorpion downpipe installed and the fitment is, quite frankly, shocking. So I'm going back to the original pre-cat downpipe but want to remove the baffles first.

Anyone here done this and have any wisdom to pass on regarding the easiest way to clear it out?

What i did was used a drill bit on a drill and drilled it out and used a screw driver to pick out bigger bits

one off these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MACHINE-WO...=bin8265c03dc2 took me 20 mins to do mine while it was still on the car lol

Ah right that'd do it! Cheers Mark, not sure if I've got one of those lying about but I'll give that a go. Thanks for the direction.

It doesn't fit properly, the angle of the flange that joins to the turbo is wrong. They are sold to fit Astra and Vectra on the same fitment but it's clearly not the case. It ends up right against the sump and doesn't seal properly. It's coming out this weekend - my first opportunity to do so...
