    Not an option for the Y30DT (and probably not for the Z30DT either)

    If you look at vectra19's other threads, I think he has a 1.9.... the username might be a clue too

    EGR valve on the Solenoid side got stuck and needed cleaning out once cleaned and put back togeather running like a dream. save yourself some money and give the How 2 a try. The way I look at it if it's broken anyway and needs changing you might as well try and fix it and save yourself some money...

    tried the cleaning didn't work for mine. bought new and instantly worked great. imo - not worth arsing about cleaning them for the sake of 90 quid or whatever. easiest fitment in the world - garages charge extortionate price for doing this **** easy job a 10yr old child could do.
