Default Clutch and dmf replaced :)

Had the above done today and is loads better..!

One little issue is when initially pulling away it makes a slight noise like a cooing then it doesn't do it again.

Is this normal when first been fitted or do I have an issue and need to take it back?

    Just an update.

Took it back to the garage today and they think I might have a dodgy clutch and they don't think the friction plate is sitting flush. Told me to give it a few weeks to see if it improves if not will have to take it back out and send it back off to be inspected

I have not heard of a 'dodgy' unit before but bad fitting is not uncommon. You should have no noises from the clutch but it might slip a bit when bedding in.

Isn't that "cooing" noise the release bearing? that shouldn't be the case if all new kit was fitted.

I know all the bits were fitted as I requested all the old parts do I could check. It's kind of like a little squeal when your pulling away and reversing. Almost sound like a sticky calliper noise but it's not.. (if I make sence)

Is there any cheap easy way to find out if it's not been fitted right without me paying someone to strip the whole lot out?

Sorry - just to be clear did you have:
    New CSC
    New Clutch Plate
    New Presure Plate
    New release bearing

    i.e. 4 bit.
