Ha ha, think this was too easy

Its ABS plastic, cut and bent to hide the back of the engine... It will be painted black if keep although I may swap to 1mm ali, but the ABS will match everything else...

    Before...

I absolutely love your engine bay, i am so jealous of the mirrors and would love to do the same but my carpentry skills are not up to much and am bound to muck it up. keep going with the mods mate, onwards and upwards

Had to remove the ABS plastic version due to warping with the heat!!!

Probably painting it once the polished heads on anyway, but gave it a polish as there where some marks on it, got caught in the down poor mid polish so bolted on and left it for now

Nice idea, I'd consider this myself but I've got a turbo heatshield back there that I've polished

Get the polishing mops on that, it'll look great once shiny

Just lots of sanding and it soon goes flat... Need to do the battery box again however as still visible...

The shield may need to come off, getting a slight vibration at 1100rpm, must be too tight against the head... Will have to file again this week

How it looked, removed and the vibration rattles gone

Shame... Will have to think of a way to brace it of fit a rubber spacer... Is it because it's a little thin, I wonder if thicker sheet would help?
