    Default Grandchild at risk

First of all sorry if this is in the wrong place,i need a little advice please,my eldest s.son had my old vectra B sri off me when i changed to a c,for which i'm still waiting for payment 12 months later incidentally,he turns up at our's and says have a look at this car for me there's a light on the dash it was flashing every time i brake but now it stays on every time i brake obviously a fault somewhere in the braking system. As he does nothing for himself i sent him on his way and told him to look in the handbook that i gave him with the car, twenty mins later i see him merrily driving down the road with the grandson who is 6 in the car with him.As some of you on here still have B's was wondering could you put my mind at rest and advise me as to what this may be or am i going to have to run to his beck and call yet again.

    Cheers mike

are his brake pads low? would be my first guess. A relative had a light flashing on his vec-b every time he braked when his pads were getting low, then as they got worse it started staying on all the time, my first port of call would be checking his brake pads.
