Default Clutch slipping and loosing clutch/brake fluid

Hey, my clutch has been slipping for a few weeks now quite badly, I'm now loosing clutch/brake fluid but it's not going onto the ground and there isn't any visible signs of a leak.
Is there any common problems in this area or does anybody have any ideas on what it could be ?
    Thanks Martin

most likely to be the concentric slave cylinder thats leaking, this can cause brake fluid to contaminate the clutch and cause it to slip. have a look where the gearbox meets the engine block under the car to see if it looks damp

I'd agree with above most likely slave cylinder leaking an contaminating friction material of clutch

Thanks guys, I had a look under the gear box but there isn't any sign of damp spots anywhere, could still be the slave cylinder though couldn't it ?

I'd say it's more than likely. As clutch slipping too.

But double check no signs of leaks above brake pedal.

defo no sign of leaking anywhere, will the fluid have destroyed the clutch aswell? or if I fix the slave cylinder will it dry out? probably a stupid question

It will have killed the friction material aswel

An tbh the labour involved in splitting to change slave cylinder you may aswel do clutch as well

And of it has dual mass flywheel that too because of clutch has been slipping its guaranteed to have affected that

Not sure tbh mate different places offer very different prices
You'll probably find a clutch/ transmission specialist will offer best price

Id say roughly £800 but seen people get it for as low as 550 an upwards of 1100

As a guide I paid £747 trade price for parts f(2 piece clutch kit,DMF, CSC) or my v6 cdti
and took me 9 hours to fit. (book time is 7 hours)
