    Anyone got a GPS speed detector fitted, if so what type and where

    Was thinking of the Inforad K2 or V4E but would like to permanent mount and have a permanent live feed

    Used to have road angel pretty good. Used to tell speed am also accident black spots

    just be very careful if you drive in france, it's illegal to even have in the car a device that is capable of detecting speed cameras regardless of whether or not it is being used. http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice...in-france.html

    Just goes to prove that they are being used to generate revenue in the form of speeding fines then doesn't it,surely the whole point of having them there in the first place is to slow traffic down thus making the roads a safer place,which in effect is what the radar/speed detectors are doing anyway.

    My Navman Spirit300 and Tomtom XL2 both alert me to cameras as well as congestion incidents, I just do the windscreen mount as I feel especially in this weather I need my vents as well as my OBC for resale value

    my snooper my speed is ok tels you where speed cameras are and tells you when your going too fast on most roads.fitted mine under light switch .only down side is not very loud.

    my garmin nuvi lets me know as well, try keeping it on in nottingham it beeps non stop, there must be hundreds of camera,s there plus it beeps at known hotspots where the police are known to set up most times and my sat nav is 3 years old so looks like an update or a new one

    could always try driving within the posted speed limits,.. cheapest solution!!

    I have an earlier Inforad V3. Happy enough with it.

    The inforad is ok to use in France as it is only doing the same thing as a sat nav does for points of interest.
